A week from today I will be leaving the comfort of my home, family and friends for a continent, country that I have never been to and people that I have never met. I love traveling and am all about new adventures, but the anticipation of these adventures makes to a little nervous at times.
After spending the whole summer in Chicago (a new places with new people) I was reminded that though I absolutely loved it while I was there, I was a little uneasy before going as well. I guess all the amazing memories, both hard and good times had masked the nervousness that I once felt.
I hope the same is true for Lithuania. I will be leaving this place that I know so well for a completely different world, and I am becoming more excited about it as the days pass.
I will be studying LLC International University, an English speaking university, and will be living in residence halls with Eastern European roommates. I will be immersing myself in the culture and trying to learn the language as well.
